 How to Open an Absa Ignition Account on the NSS Portal (2026 Guide)

Personnel of the National Service Scheme (NSS) can now conveniently open an Absa Ignition Account directly through the official NSS portal, thanks to a partnership between the Scheme and Absa Bank Ghana Limited. The entire process is online, simple, and can be completed in a few minutes.

Follow this step‑by‑step guide to get started.

 Step 1: Log in to the NSS Portal

Visit the official NSS login page:  

 [https://posting.gnsa.gov.gh/login]

Enter your credentials to access your dashboard.

 Step 2: Go to the Bank Account Section

Once logged in, locate and click on the Bank Account section or link on your portal dashboard.

 Step 3: Select Absa Bank Limited

From the list of available banks, choose Absa Bank Limited.

Step 4: Choose Your Account Option

You will see two choices:

- Yes, I have an existing account”– Select this if you already have an Absa account and want to link it.

-No, I want to open a new Absa Ignition Account”– Select this to create a brand‑new Ignition Account.

 Step 5: Fill in Your Details

Provide the required information, including:

- Nationality

- Personal details (name, date of birth, etc.)

- Other necessary particulars as prompted

 Step 6: Complete Photo Verification

A photo verification step is part of the process. Carefully follow the on‑screen instructions to capture or upload your photo.
