The National Coordinator of the Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS), Sheriff Sulemana, has announced that the 2026 Senior High School (SHS) placement results are expected to be out by Monday, August 31, 2026.
He explained that releasing the results by that date will give successful BECE candidates enough time to check which school they've been placed in before schools reopen.
Reporting Date for Freshers
Mr. Sulemana also confirmed that first-year students are expected to report to their Senior High Schools and Senior High Technical Schools on Friday, September 18, 2026, to begin second-cycle education.
The announcement is meant to give candidates, parents, and guardians a clear timeline, following widespread questions about when the 2026 placement results would be released.
