UEW Announces 50 M.Phil. Programmes for Prospective Postgraduate Students
The University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has announced more than 50 Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) programmes for prospective postgraduate students seeking admission into the university for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The programmes, which form part of the university’s regular postgraduate admissions, are aimed at training researchers, lecturers, educationists, administrators, communication experts, and professionals across various disciplines.
According to the university, the postgraduate programmes are available under regular, weekend, sandwich, and distance learning modes to accommodate both fresh graduates and working professionals.

Admission Requirements
According to UEW, applicants seeking admission into the two-year M.Phil. programmes must possess at least a Second Class Lower Division in a relevant field from a recognised university.
Applicants may also be required to attend and pass a departmental selection interview depending on the programme.
For the one-year top-up M.Phil. programmes, candidates must possess a Master’s degree with a GPA of not less than 3.0 in a related field of study.
